![]() Or jump on a tram which is around the corner. You can walk to Leidseplein in 15/20 mins, there's plenty of larger bars there. Note, a little! I thought the location was excellent, there's a market nearby, plenty of little bars and restaurants. I thought there would be no privacy at all looking at pictures of the bathroom area, but there is a sliding door by the toilet and if you shut the shower door too, you have a little privacy. Which I believe is included with having your bed changed. The bathroom had two towels on arrival, there is a charge for towel replacements. There was a mirror with a rack and one hanger in my room. I think again the write up mentions no wardrobes. The rooms are thin and long, there was one little bench at the end of the bed. The mattress itself wasn’t too bad, it's just a small bed width. Both single beds are up against a wall and there is a very small gap between the beds. The rooms themselves are tiny, they look as small as the pictures on the site here. They also helped us get our baring a bit, and mentioned areas to head into and where the tram stops were. We returned a few hours later and checked in all our rooms. We were upfront about this with the staff, and they happily let us take one of our rooms at 12:30. We checked in one of our rooms early as we needed to dump of 10 bags, it seemed logical. Some reviews on here the people seem surprised to hear about those things at check in. The rooms are simply equipped and if you go on there website, they also say early checking from 12 is available at €7.50 per room, bag storage is €4. We got the booking from booking, com and all the paper work we had said, WiFi and room cleaning is available at an extra charge.
